FAQ

What is Self-Paced Learning?

Self-paced learning is defined as a specific learning method in which the learner is able to control the amount of material they consume as well as the duration of time they need to learn the new information properly. Learning at your own pace allows you to keep your life going (take your MBA or Certification programs without stopping your life for one or two years), while you invest and accelerate your career. At Oduwa Career Institute, we are a self-paced and exclusive Online Business School for MBAs. You pay a tuition fee and then begin your MBA or Certification journey with flexibility.

Many learners at Oduwa Career Institute are like you: Working full-time, handling family and personal responsibilities, or eager to move ahead in their life and career. Our global online MBAs and certification programs at Oduwa Career Institute are designed especially for you, providing an education that meets your unique needs:

  • Flexibility to take your program modules in conjunction with your professional and personal commitments.
  • The opportunity to study for a top-quality program any time, anywhere.
  • Affordable certifications: our global online learners do not pay fees for on-campus services and, in many cases, are eligible for a scholarship.

What is an MBA certificate program?

Working professionals who want to increase their business understanding, develop new skills, or make a career change should consider enrolling in an online MBA certification program.

These programs help people gain business knowledge in a specific field, and usually only take months to finish depending on your pace. Certification programs teach students about management responsibilities and basic business theory, among other subjects. Some students sign up for these programs to determine whether or not it would be beneficial for them to enroll in a full-time MBA program. Since many programs are offered online, students can study from the comfort of their own home, and conveniently schedule their study time.

Earning a degree or certificate will not guarantee a job or specific income, but those who complete MBA certification programs often receive more employment opportunities and internal management promotions.

What is the difference between an MBA degree and an MBA certificate program?

There are MBA degree programs and there are MBA certificate programs. The first ones are academic MBAs. The second ones are practical MBAs for preparing you for employment. With an MBA certificate program, you don’t earn a degree, you earn qualification (that is, you improve your business skills). MBA certificate programs are also referred to as “Executive MBA”.

In conclusion:

  • If you are looking for a degree, this is not your program.
  • If you are looking to learn business skills, this is your program.
